Hi Martha. There are updates to both the Practice Management and EMR software in the 3.11 release. So no, you do not need to have EMR to take advantage of some of the new features of NueMD 3.11. Please view the Sept 6, 2012 billboard announcement to access the NueMD 3.11 release notes. The release notes will give you a more detailed breakdown of all the new features available in NueMD 3.11.

How disappointing. I saw another Nuesoft video and wondered what masterpiece you'd created. Then, I get a straight corporate like video that seems like it came from ONC. Good information and well shot, but a bit a disappointment for those of us that love your other videos.

Changes are a part of the medical world, especially with changes in Washington. We have to adapt our practice to the newest government ruling, no matter how much we dislike it. To enable my practice to do more I have tapped into the latest medical technology. Currently using some good software, dictation software and billing software, to improve the practice overall. The government can change their policies, but I'm going to get a leg up with technology.

The fact that the ACA did not address the SGR and then further compounds the problem by adding the IPAB is the swan song for Medicare and for many physician practices. Adding millions of patients at the same time forcing a good percentage of the physicians into retirement is dysfunctional.

Hi Cindy, I think I can provide a bit more information. Yes you will be able to access your schedule, add new appointments, even quickly capture charges with your current account setup using Nuesoft Mobile for Android. While we haven't finalized pricing, I do not expect there to be an additional cost for these features. Stay tuned and we'll let you know as soon as its available.

Yes, the android app will include scheduling functionality, but we can’t tell you right now exactly what the final product will look like or how it will interact with the desktop applications. The purpose of this pilot program is to get feedback from clients to finalize product development. We will be able to give you more detail about the app after this phase of the process. I hope you'll participate!

Will the Android pilot program include the scheduling module? Can you just access the scheduling module and not the documentation module? Since we already are customers for the scheduling and billing software, would there be an additional cost to access the schedule via Android?
